Can't seem to find this part anywhere. I believe all of my hurricane windows have this same channel balance. They are only 6 years old. One has had the inside chord break. The part number stamped on it is "2965 BSI EP" for a 30 inch 65 pound replacement.
Do you carry these or are they a custom build for the window manufacturer?

Are you sure your window sash weighs 65 pounds? That would be the largest window I've ever dealt with. With hurricane windows, you never know, though. The weight I'm looking for would be the weight of one sash by itself. Can you double-check the weight?
The "2965" is (supposed to be) a weight code, but there's a separate part number for the whole balance that we need to figure out.
Can you send some photos of this balance? I'd direct you to our selection to see what we offer, but there may be special modifications to hold the extra-heavy window, so we want to get every feature right when we recommend a new balance. We will just take a look ourselves, if you're able to get some pictures.
