Need a 4 X $ 1/4 Radius Replacement Hinge

Quick Learner from Palm Bay, FL

Good day!

My name is Jamie Wright. I have been trying to get the correct hinges for an older door. I have purchased, online and in person, what I though was the correct type. Using the standard ones with the smaller pin will not allow the door to close (about 7 inches from closing). I am sending the attachments in hoping your company can assist with my dilemma.

First Photo - The measurement of the center cylinder.

Second Photo 2 - Both hinges from photo one so that the pins can be more seen.

Third Photo - Both hinges from photo one so that the pins can be more seen. This did not come in clear. It has a name imprinted on it....New Excel T.T. Japan. Did not find much info on this company.

Fourth Photo - The one on the right is the one off the door. The one to the right is a 4 X 4 1/4 Radius which is the same size except for the cylinder in the middle.

I would like to purchase three with the five knuckle arrangement but if I can't, would at least find with the same size cylinder arrangement. Even if it is the ball bearing type.

I am hoping you can be my remedy since no one else has been able to help. Would absolutely use your products in the future as well. Look forward in working with you.

Sincerely,

Jamie

Looking at your photos, I don't believe the problem you're having is because of the pin size. Specifically looking at the original hinge, it appears to be like the type used on commercial steel doors with a "Template" hole pattern. The newer hinge you show has a "Masonite" hole pattern, which is more commonly used on residential door. You might need to check with a locksmith in your area to get the correct hinge for your door.
