Need a lower profile handle for patio door

We're getting new window treatments on our patio door, and we'd like a handle that doesn't push out as far as the 2-1/4" we currently have.
Our mounting screws are 3-1/2" apart. Would your 82-016 do the job for us?

A surface mount handle like the 82-016 may be your only option. It looks like you have an old Acorn brand door, which aren't made anymore. The 82-016 does have a relatively shallow projection but I cannot guarantee that it will clear the new window treatment.
