Need a new channel balance for window

Question

Our channel balance on our window is broken and is making it so we cannot close the window. I am not even able to get the window out because we cannot get the window closed enough to flip the clips on the sides to remove the balance from the window itself. I have the same window in a different room of the house and was able to remove the channel balance from that one to measure it. It has "22 5 JW CMC 7" written on the balance. It measures 23" long and 1/2" wide. The only markings on our window itself is "vinylite" which I am not sure if that is a brand of window or not. Can you please help me figure out which channel balance I would need to order so that I can replace the broken one?

Thanks for posting. I'm sure we can replace this balance for you, but could you show us pictures of the top nylon attachment as well? That will help narrow down the possible replacements. Many thanks.
