Need a new plastic part in window...see photo

Question

Hi, so we recently ordered two 27" Series 385 Channel Balances for a window in our home. We installed them correctly (I've done this many times, because we have 50 windows and I take the windows apart to wash the exterior). Anyways, when I went to close the window (right after installing it), we heard a loud pop and the channel balance on the right side had popped the plastic "stop" right in half and also went through the window.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. This sometimes happens when top sash guides are older. The broken part in your photo kind of looks like our 18-008 top sash guide, though maybe a bit larger. Take a look and compare dimensions with your sample just in case. Is there any way we can see a version of this top sash guide that isn't broken? That may help us find something better. Do you also know the manufacturer?
