Need a pair of 34" balances with 3375 stamped

A handy person from Port Charlotte, FL says:
Mine look identical to your series 385 but I don't see an option for heavier ones. Originals have 3375 stamped on them.

Hi there!

We can supply the Series 385 balance with the 3375 option but it will have to be a custom order since this isn't a stock strength option of ours. Can you remove an undamaged balance from the window and show us clear photos of the top and bottom fittings? Custom orders are nonrefundable so I just want to be thorough to ensure we get you the right hardware.

Thanks for getting back to us. This is not our Series 385. This is a special extended travel channel balance, named for its unique block and tackle system. Yours is also notable for being the rivetless variety, since the bottom nylon fitting plugs into the channel instead of being held in with a rivet like usual. The Series 385 cannot be used as a replacement in any way, as they are incompatible.

The good news is that we can supply this but it will have to be a custom order. Before we go any further, I just need you to verify two details:

  • Can you double check the length of the metal channel? It should be 33-7/8" long, not 34". I know that may not seem like a big difference but it is important.
  • Can you tell me how many of these you wanted?

Once we have all that cleared up, I can email you a purchase link and price quote that you can use to place an order on our site.

A handy person from Port Charlotte, FL says:
You are correct it measures 33 7/8" exact on metal channel. I just need one, other is still intact. Thank you

Thanks for confirming. We can only supply 2 balances at minimum, as these are custom made. I hope that's okay. We always recommend replacing both balances at the same time anyway; if you mix old and new balances, the new ones are likely to fail much earlier than they should.

I will email you a purchase link and price quote now that will let you add 2 to your cart.

Please let me know if you had any other questions.
