Need a round key cylinder

Question

I bought a (40-194) mortise lock and I thought I was going to have to return it. But now it appears that what I bought fits, I just need the key cylinder.

Thanks for writing in! I do not believe the 40-194 is the correct replacement for your existing lockset. The lock cylinder you would need as a replacement, unfortunately would not be compatible with this mortise lock. The 40-194 uses a tear dropped shaped cylinder and yours is circular in shape.

With that said, take a look at the 40-211 Larson Brass Mortise Lever Set. Carefully compare the dimensions and design to your existing mortise lock and handle set to see if this might be a better fit for your storm door hardware.
