How high is the center tang? (In other words - what is the distance between the window frame and the tang when it is mounted?)
I need something with a 1/4" clearance, thanks.

Thanks for posting. We measured this out for you, and the distance between the tang and the window surface is 11/32". Let me know if you have further inquiries.
