Need assistance identifying coil balance replacement paRT.

Question

I was unable to find any information to identify the manufacturer of the windows.

The coil spring is stamped 932.

I am uncertain if this is the complete unit or if I will also need the part that fastens the top of the coil spring to the window channel.

I hope that this will be enough for you to help identify the proper replacement. I will need three left and three right units.

Thanks for posting! Your pivot shoe appears to be our 15-180 Coil Balance Shoe. Look over the dimensions for the shoe below and compare them to your existing shoe. The compatible double support appears to be our 15-181 Double Support Detent Clip.

These pieces of hardware are compatible with 15-182 coil bushing and the Series 190 Coil balance spring. Since you have the Double Support Detent Clip, it is likely that you'll need two coils for one assembly (for a total of 4). I would recommend weighing the window to confirm the stamp and number of coils you will actually need for the window.

If there are only (2) coils in the window and it does happen to be 18lbs. Then the S190-940 should work fine as replacement. In which case, you'll need the 15-186 Coil Balance Clip.

You may also need the screws to secure the coils to the shoe, which are part 33-073.
