Need 2830 or 2840 channel balances

I have several windows with bad balance units. Your 2830 or 2840 units seem to be the best match I can find on your website. Please advise as to your order, postage, and/or return policy. I will probably order 12 units. There isn't any weight stamp on the existing units. The only designation is 28C. I used a bath scale and it got about 22 lbs. It was a digital so I couldn't get a perfect reading. Would there be a problem with putting a slightly heavier unit in? I might add that Home Depot advised me about your site.

Thank you for posting. 2830 and 2840 aren't serial numbers, those are just options that determine the strength of the balance in question. Our Series are determined by the nylon attachments on either end of the metal channel.
That said, I see you were looking at our 29" Series 380 channel balance. Is that what you have? If so, then the 2830 option might be the best choice for you. Two balance with that option can support a sash weight range of 16 through 23 pounds. I do not recommend installing a stronger spring than that, as your window may not operate properly.
