This looks like a 15-087 Coil Balance Shoe, which uses our Series 180 Coil Springs. To know what spring weights to select, You will need to remove the springs from the window track and look for stamp codes. If there are none, or you are uncertain, give us the exact weight of your window sash and we'll devise what you need. For help removing and replacing your coil balance system, see the video below. While both of this system is different, the principles are the same. |

Hey Mike. If the window weighs exactly 14 lbs, then (2) of the S180-7 7 lb Coil Springs should work for you. Use on on each side of the sash, for a total of 14 lbs of support. For a new coil balance housing, see our 15-087. For a new mounting bracket, see the 16-031 as well as the 33-072 Fastener. Let me know if you have any other questions. |
