Need direction on wooden door roller bracket (30")

Home Owner from Wichita, Kansas

Hello!

I have a 33-year old wooden sliding patio door. I am replacing the roller assemblies.

My question is: How do you separate the roller assembles from the 30" bracket on the bottom of the door? Does the plastic cap on the end of the bracket come off so they can slide out? If they do, they don't come off easily. Didn't want to damage the 30" bracket.) Also, do you sell the bracket? Do they come together already attached? (Bracket & Roller Assemblies?)

I look forward to your info.Thank you very much. (PS - I already have the rollers on order.)

Hi there!

Looking at your lower door rail I would think that the roller might slide out at the ends like you say if you remove the plastic cap. However, I don't see the end cap in these photos. With that being said, see if you could get a small flat-blade screwdriver at one end of the roller itself and see if you could pry it out from the bottom of the rail. Now, please take your time removing these rollers because I don't believe this lower 30" rail bracket is still available.
