Need handle and gears

Home Owner from Santa Clarita. CA
On the bottom of the handles is the number 45240 16. I have three awning casement windows. One is good. The others two need replacement handles and gears.

One of the gears came out with the handle. The last window the handle rotated off.

The initial problem is two of the windows would not crank shut.

Can you help me identify the problem cause and replacement plants and then order the parts for me.

Since I can't open/close two of the windows due to broken handle/crank, I do not know the state of the operator. Attached photo 1 is of the good window. The other three photos are from the two broken windows. Thoughts?

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. It sounds like your operator is stripped and needs to be replaced. Take a look at the 39-015 awning operator and 39-114L handle which is sold separately. Take a look at the specifications and see if they match what you need.

Great place I have the same issue. How did you get the slotted brass retaining ring off? I've been looking for a tool to unscrew it.

Unfortunately it just slid off with the handle.
