Need help finding the right hardware to install lock & door handle

A home owner from Denver says:
Hi!
I have a replacement lock and handle for a sliding glass door that was sent to me by the company since it was still under warranty.

The problem is, it came without any hardware to install it and the company (Pella, who now owns the former Viking manufacturer of the door) says they don't have the parts.

Sadly, we don't have them from the previous lock. My handyman threw them out before knowing this would be a problem. We have tried to find replacements at Home Depot, Ace and through alldoors.com, to no avail.

They appear to need 2 rods that go through the assembly from the outside handle, through the lock, terminating at the interior handle where it is held in place by 2 exterior screws right at the base of the handle.

The lock is a 2-point Mortise style by Interlock, patent 5,951,068. The door handle says "Made in New Zealand."

Thanks for contacting us. To install the mounting pad (82-082) along with the outside handle (going through the 82-238) you will need two 1-1/2" long flat head screws. The screws you will need to install the inside handle would be 3/4" long flat head screws. The screws you need are similar to our 33-105, but longer. I would take your handle set to a local hardware store and have them match up the screw size and thread count. One last note is to check to see if the screw way in the handles are threaded. If not, you will need to tap a thread into the handle to match the screw size.
