Need help identifying Tilt Latches, Pivot Shoe, and Spiral Balance for Vinyl Window

Handy Person from New York

I need help finding the right replacement parts for my vinyl double-hung tilt window.

Here is what is broken and needs replacement:

Tilt Latches: The top plastic latch snapped off.

Pivot Shoe: The bottom shoe broke inside the jamb track.

Spiral Balance: The spiral rod twisted and popped out.

I have attached photos of the broken tilt latch, the window sash profile, and the jamb track with the balance mechanism.

Could you please help me identify the exact replacement parts (Tilt Latches, Pivot Shoe, Spiral Balance, and Tension Tool) to order from your site?

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'd be happy to make recommendations for each part, but there is some missing information we will need before we can proceed. I'll go in order:

  • Tilt latches: These could be either our 26-243A or 26-244A, but you need to remove one of the originals and verify that all dimensions line up. Review the dimensions on the aforementioned store pages as reference. Let me know if they differ, but if they're the same you can go ahead and add them to your cart.
  • Pivot shoe: This is unfortunately not possible to identify as long as it's installed. You need to remove the original and tell me the width and thickness. I can then find a good match.
  • Spiral balance: This would be either the 3/8" diameter Series 900 or 9/16" diameter Series 600, depending on the diameter of the tube. Measuring that tube is your next step.

It also appears that you're showing the pivot bar, which resembles our 26-373.
