In tghe beginning I was going to do the whole balance but the spring is fine as is the frame. I would like to try a shoe first as well as order a couple balances to have on hand as I just bought this 1999 built house.

Okay, great. Thanks for confirming. Your existing balances have a groove at the bottom of them, so you'll need to use the 15-236 to replace the shoe.

The balances can be replaced with the S795-28 with a 28B stamp. You'll need to confirm whether the balances attach to the window track using a screw or a hook. If they use a hook, please let me know as they'll need to be custom assemblies. These use the 15-195 1-1/4" closed cam shoe.
