Hi,
Could you help identify the window crank assembly and suggest compatible replacement parts? I believe it is Milgard window. Also, the existing window crank broke cleanly. What do I need to do to remove it from the window? The window is shut right now and it doesn't seem to budge unless it is turned from the crank assembly, which is impossible since it is broken.
Thanks
Steve

Hello,
Take a look at the video below to help you choose the correct Encore operators for your windows. As for removing the damaged hardware, you should be able to gently push the sash open if it is unlocked.
If it still won't open, the hinges that connect the sash to the house could be seized up. If you suspect that this may be the case, you may want to have a local professional come out to troubleshoot the problem. Thank you.
