I'm looking to replace a pair of channel balances. Brand name is Paramount. Windows are single hung vinyl. The metal rails measure 32 1/16", 33" total with the 2 white plastic end pieces. One side had a number on it which read.....31-3FI5CM50. I'm having a tough time finding anybody who can help me. I have another 5 pics I can send if that would help. I could only upload 5 onto this email. Any help would be appreciated. I will try calling you tomorrow. Thanks!!

Thanks for posting! Your window balance is a custom, 86 style Caldwell Balance. We can supply the replacement for it but it will need to be a custom assembly. Based on the stamp, the length of the metal channel should be 32", excluding the attachments.
To confirm pricing and availability for them, I'll need to know the number of balances you'd like to purchase. The quantity minimum is (2) balances.

I would like 2 each ( 1 pair ) to start off with. If it solves my problem, I will probably order more at a later date.
The rest of my windows seem to be functioning ok at this point in time.
Our house was built 12 years ago. This window gets used as much as any window in the house.
What would consider a normal life expectancy?

The typically life expectancy for these balances is 10 years. However, that can vary depending on usage and the weather conditions in the area.
