Need longer spline for 3-15/16" Keyed Handle

Question

Hello, I ordered this [Legacy Keyed Handle Set, 3-15/16" (1-3/8" Door)] handle for my door. The spindle isn't long enough on the keyed side but is fine on the other. Can it be adjusted or is there a longer spindle? I need about 3/8"-1/4" more for it to be long enough to go into the lock.

I'm afraid you can't adjust the key spindle. It's simply not long enough. You may be able to use our 82-310 key lock to fix this issue; it's made with a longer-than-needed key tail so that you can cut it down to the size you need.
