Hi. We have an American Craftsman 50-series (the inexpensive $300 Home Depot slider kit). My children broke the little interior lever that would lock the door. My husband attempted to fix it by removing the mortise and in the process, lost everything. I now only have a door, an exterior handle, and interior handle.
My goal is to have a door that can be locked again, and upgrade to the keyed lock while we are at it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
For the handle, take a look at our 82-030 and 82-310 key lock that can be installed in the outside handles. Just confirm the hole spacing of the 82-310 matches up to your original handle.
As for your mortise lock, the 82-218 is known for falling into the door during the removal process since there is nothing holding it in place once the screws are removed. Take a look and see how the dimensions of the 82-218 compare to your doors cutout and installation hole spacing. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks for posting!
