Need multiple parts - first timer replacing

Home Owner from Georgia
I think the swisco coil I need is #S160-10. Coil has 10:0 stamped. I think the pivot shoe is your 15-228. The pic with the coils confuses me. I look at another window that's right beside and I don't see coils ??
Theres a pic showing a white stop (??) on the right side but not one on the left. I need 2 of those as well.

Hey there. Yes, this does look like the 15-228 Pivot Shoe. if the spring is 1/2" thick, it's the S160-10 10 pound spring. As far as the window track where you don't see the coils, is the shoe in the window? Can the window still lift and move? The coils must be in there then, perhaps just further up the sash. The video below shows how to remove and replace these systems.

I think my son tried something a few weeks ago when he was here. No coils - no shoe on the left side. Since I'm going to replace both sides shoes - I'm going to replace both sides coils as well. How do I know if I need 2 or 3 coils ... and does it come with the plastic piece that the coils attach to ? The pic that shows only one coil is the right side. The left side only had the shoe and one coil when I cut it out.

Most likely you need the 10 pound S160-10 coil on both sides of the sash, for a total of 20 pounds of support. See the video below for how to work this out. If in doubt, weigh the window sash and you can use that weight to determine the spring weights needed.

For a single coil support, see the 15-150S sold separately.
