Screws are 2" but don't tighten (threads on back handle seem to be stripped). What are screw threads? 10-32 fine? I can't find them at a hardware store.
Name on brass handle: "Sash Controls Ferndale MI"
Patent # on brass handle: see photo.
Handles are on LEFT side of sliding door. Door closes to left and opens to the right.
I also have a patio door that has Handles on RIGHT side with the same handles, except they have the opposite configuration. 2" screws tighten OK.
Brass inside Door handle is 8 1/2" long and 1" wide.
I believe that I need 1. A new back handle that has good threads2. Two new 2" machine screws

Thanks for posting! Our 82-087 is the closest match we have to the brass handle set you have. There is also the 82-086 which has the same specifications but is available in white. Take a look at the dimensions from part 82-087 and compare them to your existing hardware to confirm that this is the replacement handle set you'll need.
The handle set will come equipped with all of the screws necessary for installation. We do not sell the machine screws you are searching for, unfortunately. In fact, I'm not quite sure where you would be able to source them, especially since you've already gone to other local hardware stores. I've also included other parts compatible with your handle set as well. Let me know if you have any questions. |

We do not sell the exact pull you are searching for, unfortunately. The only handle pull we sell separately with a 3-15/16" measurement is the 82-042. Keep in mind, it is only sold in black. As explained, we do not sell the machine screws you are searching for, unfortunately. In fact, I'm not quite sure where you would be able to source them, especially since you've already gone to other local hardware stores. Given the parts you require to repair your door (especially the screws), your best course of action might be to purchase the handle set. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. |
