Need new channel balance

Thanks for reaching out to us. We may be able to supply this balance, but I can't identify it while it's still installed. Would it be possible for you to remove it and show me a clear photo of the bottom fitting?

Can you also verify that the balance is what needs to be replaced? Looking at your pictures, it seems the top sash guide is missing, which is what holds the balance in place under the sash. That would account for why it shot up in the frame like it has.

If that is the only issue, then replacing the top sash guide should fix this for you. I'm happy to advise on that, but I'll need to see the remaining top sash guide on the opposite end of the window to get an idea of what you need. Seeing it removed will be necessary.
