Need new coil balances for Simonton windows

A handy person from Flushing, MI says:
greetings! I need replacement balances for the windows pictured and then some additional back up sets for when the next coil snaps: )

Using the windows as service windows due to covid.

Hello! We should be able to help, but before I recommend anything I would like to see a picture of the pivot shoes that your balance springs attach to. That will be a definitive detail that will allow me to determine everything else you need. Thanks!

These are perfect, thank you! Simonton no longer makes this style, but you can use our 15-192 shoe as a replacement, along with the 15-156 cover, 15-157 barrel, and Series 170 spring. The video below will show you how it all works together.

One thing to note is that these parts are Certainteed brand. They're nearly identical except for one detail, which is what kind of pivot bars are used between each brand. As a result, your current pivot bars may not work in our 15-192 shoe. This is easily fixed by swapping the metal cam out for the old one in your first shoe, so make sure not to throw it out.
