Need new crank system

Question

These windows were manufactured by Clawson Manufacturing out of Missoula MT. They are no longer in business. The crank turns, but spins without opening or closing the window.

Thanks for posting! Based on the description of the issue with your operator, it sounds like the gears are stripped. So you will need to replace the entire operator.

To identify the best possible replacement, I will need to see a photo of the entire operator, preferably removed from the window. I am looking to see a photo of the body of the operator as well as the arm(s) and how the operator attaches to the bottom of the swinging window.

If you are unable to open the window, it would help to see an operator from a working window, if possible.
