Another thing to keep in mind is that there's a good chance we simply don't have anything that can replace this. Storm windows in general have been dying off for decades now and replacement parts are getting harder and harder to get a hold of. That's just the reality of the industry right now, unfortunately. What you have here may be a collector's item. Just something to keep in mind as you move forward on this project.
