I'm pretty handy and would like to replace the worn out weather stripping before our bitter cold hits soon. I can only find the simple weather stripping, but I need something that will go over the gap where my lock is. can you help?

Sure, we carry a wide range of weatherstripping you can consider. Start with our 58-050, which fits into a 7/16" wide groove. Could this match what you have?
