Need parts help please

Windows installed ~2000. Window has channel on the inside of the screen that accepts these clips/beads. The bead looks like it could snap in on three sides (there is a deeper channel on the fourth but currently is only installed on one side of the window.

Am I on the right track looking for bead? Is glazing bead actually used to hold screens in place like this?

Glazing is used to hold the glass in the window so this isn't glazing, no. We aren't sure of the exact terminology for this part, unfortunately. If you know who made the window, your best bet would be to contact them directly.
