Need proper replacements

Question

Need to replace these two window balances that came from the same window. I can't seem to identify the proper replacements using your guide. Please help me!

1/2" channel, 27" long metal piece (not including the plastic tips), stamped:
26 6 BX CMC 7
26 5 CX CMC 7

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

I would also recommend weighing your sash and choosing a spring strength option for your replacement balances by following the chart under our product description. Both balances should have the same spring strength options to support an equal amount of weight on both sides of the window. Since your balances have slightly different stamps, It sounds like someone might have repaired the window with a balance they just happened to have on hand at the time.
