Need replace part for two 03/08 Unique 28-C-30 window balances and install instructions

The pivot show or lock on the channel balance of a couple of vinyl double hung replacement windows are broken and the inside windows won't stay open. I need to replace them and could use some help securing the correct channel balance plus instructions. Can you assist?

Hello and thanks for contacting SWISCO. We think this is possibly our Series 751 Channel Balance. But we'd like to be sure. Could you remove the balance from your window and take photos of any appendages at its top or bottom? Could you also measure the length of the metal channel itself? This will help us narrow down what you need.

I watched the video and there are no interior screws to remove the interior metal/plastic strip that holds in the jam liner? It's all wood trim there. I had watched a prior video on your site that suggested that you could pull the channel jam out by carefully expanding the vinyl jam liner. Are you suggesting that I take out the jam liner because it looks like I'd need to remove the window sashes first to do that? As the song goes: "baby it's cold outside" and this might not be doable if things go wrong? Advice? I'll ask to get a measurement on the channel balance length.

You know, being this time of the year and living in Massachusetts, you might want to wait til the weather breaks. You will need to remove the sashes to remove the jamb lines to be able to remove the balances for us to see.
