Yes, it looks like the link arm is closer to 4" rather than 5". Unfortunately we do not have a version of the 39-171 and 39-172 with a shorter link arm. You have a few options. First, you could try re-positioning the stud bracket on the casement window to make up the difference. Second, you could swap out the new link arm with the old one using a rivet like the 62-014B. let me know if you have any questions about this process.
