Thanks for posting! The crank worm gear on your operator has become completely stripped. We typically see this type of damage when operator has been "over torqued".

Since the operator is still installed in the window, it is difficult to confirm with certainty, but I believe you may be able to use the 39-025 Awning Window Crank Operator to repair your window; the opposite handed version is the 39-026. Carefully look over the dimensions and design to confirm that this is the exact replacement you need.
