The closing mechanism stripped/broke when trying to open window after it was painted. On the handle is number 45054. I don't see any other markings on anything else.

Hey there,

Thanks for your post! I'm confident we can supply a replacement for this window operator. However, to identify the correct match, I will need to see a photo of the arm(s) and how the operator attaches to the bottom of the swinging window sash.

If you do not have an identical window, with a similar operator, you'll need to open the window manually to obtain the photos.

Your window operator is a match for either the 39-032 or the 39-156. To determine which of these is the correct match, carefully look over the specifications and compare them.
