Need replacement casement window operator - DOW on handle - installed about 1973

Home Owner from Shelby NC
I have attached photos of the window operator that I need to replace. On the flange that attaches to the operator it says
The crank handle says DOW
Sash Controls Inc. Det 14 Mich Pat No. 3,085,299
Can you let me know if you have a replacement part?
The current operator does not ratchet - and does not bring the casement window into a tight fit - the handle then just spins around.
Many thanks
I have attached photos - if you need something else - just let me know.

Hey, Pat. I've seen this before. Unfortunately, we've never been able to find an exact replacement. The only thing I can think to recommend is retrofitting our 39-020 window crank and 39-520 operator track, though I can't be certain that will be a surefire solution.

Dave,
Many thanks for your response. Sad to hear you don't have an exact replacement operator. But in looking at our house and our problem, we have a similar window in another part of my house - and we seldom open this window. When the warmer weather comes (we hope soon - surely we saw on the weather channel you are probably shoveling in NJ (ps we used to live there- moved to NC 35 years ago. Don't miss shoveling "some partly cloudy" out of our driveway ) - but I digress. At this point, we will keep your suggestion in mind. But I think we will pirate the operator from the other window and then permanently seal the other window. This will solve our problem without retrofitting any of the windows. Stay warm. Thanks again. Pat
