Need replacement door lock and possibly internal latch

Home Owner from Portland, Oregon
Hi, I am looking for replacement parts for this sliding door. The doorjam has a part number of SGD-C20, which led me to your site, but I'm still not sure what I need. I hope the pictures help. The locking switch just moves freely, so I'm not sure if I also need the locking mechanism in the door.

The door lock mechanism is definitely broken too. Looks like maybe a spring is broken as the latch turns and engages with a screwdriver, but the latch doesn't actually extend unless forced/coerced.

If the door's internal mortise lock just fails to interact at all with the thumb lever, you likely need a new one. See our 82-218

That is true, but the handle is shot too. Been taped up, latch sucks on it, kids getting cut on it. If I were to get a new handle assembly, which one would you recommend?

A few different handle sets can work with this mortise lock, but check out our 82-030. Look it over and see if you like this style.
