The roller wheel\bearing is worn out - and causes the door to slide loudly, and bumpy.

Trying to find a match to my current sliding closet door roller assembly.
It's top mounted.

Looking at your photo, I recall that this roller was used for Daryl doors. Unfortunately, these are no longer available. You may able to substitute it with our 23-049 pocket door roller. Take a look and see what you think.

This is definitely not my area of expertise.
So, you feel I can remove the closet door roller assemblies that are currently there, and replace them with 2 of these pocket door rollers?
I can tell you the doors are likely original with our house, which was built in 1987 (30 years ago).

Another alternative may be to contact a handyman to take a look and suggest another way to repair or install a new track system such as our 23-500 on your doors.
