New problem...
The Distance between the two screws is 6.5 inches to center of hole.
The distance to the opening where the lock mechanism ?slice? (with hook lock sticking out) is (1? opening) is 3? from the top and bottom of the handle.
Everything still works, but the wood handle part connected to the outside metal ends broke off, leaving sharp edges on either end.
I believe the door and handle have been there since 1989. Door is still going strong!
