You only need to replace what's broken but keep in mind that a damaged mortise lock can sometimes put strain on the thumb latch, causing it to break. You may want to remove the handle and check the functionality of your lock using a flathead screwdriver. This process is demonstrated in the video we've related for you using the thumb latch. |
