Need replacement lock for A

Hello,

I have attached some images for our current storm door lock (A), and we attempted to buy a replacement (B) but we were unable to screw in the replacement to our door. We are looking for a specific set that fits our current lock (A). We need help finding a replacement that fits the holes we indicated for A (our current lock) as indicated in the white arrows.

We may have a lockset that can work for you, yes. I can't quite tell what the exact hole spacing is but in terms of design alone I would say that our best match is the mortise that comes with our 40-049 kit. Note that this has a mortise lock installation hole spacing of 6-15/16". Review the rest of our dimensions below and see if this would be a better match.
