Need replacement of coil spring balance

A home owner from Troy, NY says:

The attached pix show the left side coil balance which is still intact, and the right side mechanism which is broken and is laying on the window sill. I would like to get a replacement but am not sure what to order. Please advise. Thanks.

Hal

FYI, the installment of this window was circa 1996. Thanks.

Hi there. I placed a list of coil spring accessories we believe you nee in a list on this page for you to review. Look each part over carefully and see if these parts are a match. As for your coils themselves, it could be either the Series 170 and Series 171. You will need to review each one to see which one matches the best to your part. Your coils should have some sort of stamped number on them. You will need that number to determine which strength to order. If there are no stamped numbers, then you will need to know the exact weight of your window sash.
