Need replacement pivot lock shoe for Ryan Homes/NVR single hung vinyl window

Quick Learner from Frederick, MD
My home was built in 2008 by Ryan homes, a division of NVR builders. Most of the pivot lock shoes have broken and crumbled into pieces. I purchased a replacement pivot lock shoe from your website, product 15-195(b), aka T lock shoe open cam. The items are the same outside dimensions but your model is significantly thicker in the vertical part of the T. See the attached pictures. Needless to say the replacements would not fit. I used my grinder to whittle down the plastic to be closer to my original seen in the photo with mixed results. Some repairs have held the spring tenion rod but others just pop out and the tilt latch breaks off, causing an additional repair. Can you give me any help in locating a proper fitting replacement? I really appreciate your time and advice.

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. Your original T-lock shoe features a recessed stem that is designed to fit into a groove in the balance's metal channel. Our 15-195 lacks this feature which would explain why you've been having some issues. With that said, I recommend our 15-236. Look over the specifications for this part and let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you! I will purchase a few a give it a tryout. Can you also help with the corresponding tilt latches. Here are some pictures of what I have minus the spring loaded angle shaped plastic lock. It matches the dimensions of your model number 26-472 but mine has no holes and is white in color. Do you have something close to match for me?

We don't sell your exact tilt latch but our 26-243 and 26-244 appears to be our closest options. I can't guarantee they will work but look over the dimensions and compare them with an undamaged latch to see what you think.

Thank you. I will do a comparison this weekend with an undamaged tilt latch and hope they are a good fit. I really appreciate your time to help me out.
