Need replacement sash balance support - Republic Doug-Hung Tilt Vinyl Window (Part I)

Home Owner from Leesburg, VA
One of the pulleys that is part of the channel balance on my Republic double hung tilt vinyl window broke. The channel balance that needs to be replaced is stamped with 16C B.S.L. L. The channel balance is approximately 17/32" wide in the interior dimension and about 1/2" deep. The balance spring is installed towards the top, whereas the pulley, pulley string, and terminal clip is in the bottom half of the balance.

The pivot shoe largely installed in the channel (there is not notch to remove it) matches the design for the 770 balance series; dimensions are approximately 2 1/32 by 1 3/16. Picture should be attached.

The principal difference is that channel balance is attached to the vertical sash of the Republic Window via a clip spring that snaps into place into the sash as compared to a screw.

We should be able to help, though I believe your balance will need to be specially made. I agree that the Series 770 is a match but we will need to install a rivet at the top so you can use an installation hook. As it is, the Series 770 can only screw in.

Before we can begin, can you just tell me how many you need? Once I know that, I'll email you a special balance order link and price quote.
