Need sash balances for Viking metal windows

Good morning,

I need four 2830 sash balances for Viking metal windows. Attached are two photos each of each end (four total) plus a photo of the inscription "2830."

Can you help me?

Hi Pat,

Thanks for posting! Your channel balance can be replaced with the S395-29. Like your balance, this balance is assembled with a winged top and a wingless bottom shoe.

You can select the 2830 stamp option.

Hi Pat,

It was my pleasure to assist! These balances appear to have the same configure as the previous balances, just with a longer length. That said, you'll need the S395-35. You can select the 3430 stamp option.

Thank you for all the advice. You've given me up to this point. I need to order 8 takeout clips for Viking windows. Can you point me in the right direction for ordering those please?

One more thing, Jasmine.

I just discovered that one or more of my black colored balance shoes that fit at the top of the sliding window are broken. I've attached a photo of what an unbroken broken one looks like.

I'm sorry it's dirty. I should have cleaned it off a bit before I put the window back in the wall.

The sash balances I ordered are item number S395-35, option 3430.

And in case you haven't seen my earlier message, I don't need to order the clips anymore. So please disregard the earlier message.

I'm happy to help! May I see a photo of the take out clips you are searching for. We have a few different options, so the photo will help to narrow them down.

Regarding the top sash guide, I'll need to see a photo of a front profile view. It is important to see the placement of the installation hole(s).

Hi Jasmine,

Here are five more photos of the shoe that you requested. I need six of them if you could point me in the right direction I would sure appreciate it.

If you do carry those sash guides or the shoe or whatever it's called for two of them I will definitely need the two screws that go into each of them. And they look like they're very specific to that item. I doubt I could buy them at Home Depot. Thank you, Jasmine.

Hi Pat,

This top sash guide reminds me of the 18-009. To determine if this is the right replacement, be sure to carefully look over the dimensions below.

On the website, we suggest holding onto the existing screw for installation. So, your best bet would be taking the screw to a local hardware store to have them match them up for you.

That being said, I am happy to try to provide you with a replacement screw for the one you have but I'll need to know its dimensions. I cannot make any guarantees that we can provide you with an exact replacement but I'll do my best.
