Need short-arm for dual-armed casement window operator ...

Hi Swisco,

After 25 years the short arms are starting to rust out and becoming detached from the window. As a result the lower corner will not draw in tight as it should. In the attached the short arm has a marking of 3A818 and the long arm has a marking of 40052. Both of these markings are on the underside of the arm. The short arm is ~7" long.

Any idea what a good replacement part would be?

Hello, Doug. It sounds like you need new hinges. I recommend looking at our 36-048 to start out with. The video will show you how these works, which will help you determine if it's the right fit for your window.
