Need small part to fix windows.

Quick Learner from Pearl City Hawaii
On the top of my window frame is a small, black, plastic piece, with two small screws that catches the Channel Guide Spring Assembly and pulls it down as you replace the window and close it. It is broken and now there is nothing to pull the channel guide down. The channel guide number is #2840. Can you tell me what the part number is that I need and how to order it? I ordered one already and it came and is too big...it was black, it was plastic, it took two screws, but it wasn't the one I needed. Any help? Semper fi,
Paul

Hello Paul. Before we begin to make any suggestions to you, we'd really like to see the hardware you've been using. We'd like to prevent you from ordering the incorrect part again if we can. Let's have you send some photos of the hardware you need to replace. Be sure to have the parts removed from the window when taking your photos. It would also be best to provide the measurements and dimensions of the parts as well.

Attached are two pictures of the Top Sash Guide I need for my windows. I need ten (10) of these and I'm not sure what number to order. The Top Sash Guide I ordered before was not the correct size and it cost more to return it then to simply throw it away. I don't want to make this mistake again. I have tried to measure what dimensions I think were important.

The Top looking at it from overhead
Top Width: 7/8 inch
Top Length 5/8 inch
Laying on its side from top to bottom Heigth: 1 3/8 inch
Partial length 1/2 inch

Can you help me order the correct piece to replace those ones I have broken?
