The balancer for my window fell out, and there's been a few others that should be like this that are like this in my house. I don't think this matches any of the available ones in the shop.
From what I can see, the only marking on it is 25 3 and BSI RK near the bottom, as shown in the first image. It should be about 25 inches long. Could I get some help with finding a replacement? Thank you!
We can supply this balance, but only as a custom order. What you have here is called an "extended travel" balance, named for its unique block and tackle configuration.
We can help, but we need more data first. To start, can you kindly tell me the exact weight of the sash, down to the ounce? can you also tell me how many individual balances you need? Finally, please verify the exact length of the metal channel and write that dimension out in your response.
Hi, sorry for the delay, I had to measure some other windows, since it looks like there are a few other windows had balances that would need replacements.
For this window, I would want 4 of these balances. The metal part was 25 and 5/8th inches long. For the window sash, it was 11 lbs and 9.6 oz (11.6 lb on the scale).
For another window balance that has the same design, but a different size, I would want 2 of them. That balance for that window was 29 1/2 inches, and the sash was 15 lbs.

One thing I have to mention is that the balances we're sending you will be a different design. Your old models technically aren't available anymore, but what we carry is the modern version. It's verified to work in all the same applications, so nothing to worry about. I'm only telling you because they look a little different and I don't want you to be surprised when you open the box.
Last important note: we have the first size balance in stock (for the 11 pound sash), but not the second (for the 15 pound sash). There will be a lead time of approximately 5-6 business weeks on the second one. If you wanted to split the order, just let me know. Otherwise for now I'll send you a link that adds them both to your cart.
