Need some new balances for windows in Florida home

Handy Person from Florida
Hi there,
I have several windows in my Florida home that have broken due to the top sash guide breaking allowing the balance to move from the jamb. The pictures show the markings: 29 S (or 9?) CW (or GW?) CMC 11. They are 30" long. I think I have identified the correct part from your website, but would like for you to verify if it is the correct channel balance. My current one is 1/2" for non-tilt windows. I think the part number I need is either: S380-30 or S385-30. I also need to replace the top sash guides as they are busted. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello! I can't tell if you have a Series 380 or Series 385 though I'm leaning more towards the Series 385. The only way to know for sure is to compare the size of the nylon fittings on each end to make sure they're the same size. As for the stamp, I recommend weighing your sash on a scale to determine the weight. You can then compare that weight to the stamp option chart we show on each balance's store page.

I am not sure about the top sash guide. A few that come to mind are our 18-166, 18-127, and 18-171, but these are educated guesses. Carefully compare them to your own to see how well they match. If not, please show us some pictures and tell us its dimensions and we can work from there.
