See attached photos for specifications of my MI windows BB740 aluminum windows also called 3540 series. Need help ordering two types of parts:
1) Need 1-2 tilt latches which lock. See photo.
2) Need spiral balance case coverings for 6 windows since most of the casings are cracked from the sun and aging. See two photos showing spirals with cracked casings.
Also do I need any special tools to remove the spiral tube window balance so I can change the outer plastic casings which are cracked?

Hello there. For the tilt latches, see if our 26-351 pair match what you need. For the spiral balances, older versions of these balances had plastic outer tubes that indeed often deteriorate over time. Unfortunately we can't replace these tubes. We only carry replacement spiral balances that have sturdier metal tubes. If you're interested in replacing your spiral balances, they should be either our Series 600 or Series 900.
