Hi,
I have windows I was told were Pella. There are no balances just a large piece of plastic (vinyl??) that contains two springs on each side with a plastic pivot that has shattered in most of the windows and allowed the springs to retract into the plastic piece in a destructive manner. I cannot find this part anywhere. I have shown in the pictures the whole assembly, how the assembly fits with the windows, and the spring. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Need springs and bottom pivot parts for Pella windows (?) circa 2000.

Thank you for your correspondence. I don't recall working with Pella jamb liners in my day; however, I think we can help. What you can do is tilt in and remove both sashes from the window. Then carefully pull out the jamb liner from the window frame. The jamb liner is merely held in by the pressure on the sashes, so removing the sashes should let you remove the jamb liners. Then take the jamb liner to your nearest mill work and have them supply you with a new jamb liner. Parts used by jamb liners are hard to locate otherwise.
