Need storm door mortise latch

I returned my lock (40-198 : Storm Door Mortise Latch) as it didn't fit, it was too wide for the door. I am attaching pictures, can you tell me what i need?

I'm sorry to hear that didn't work out for you.

Could you send us some photos of the handle itself? This may help us identify a mortise lock replacement.

You might need the 40-211, lockset. Take a look and carefully compare the dimensions we show against your original hardware.
